Lake Ozarks is on fire as far as fishing go’s. Bass are biting from one end to the other. They are moving shallow and back in the coves. I’ve seen some on beds and others are just out of the spawning area’s. Crappie are close to the bank but on the deeper banks. Lake Ozarks is clear on the lower end and stained up the creeks, water temps are on the rise as well.

On a trip last week i ran up the creek and found some nice bass shallow. We was flipping jigs to the bank. I lost a nice bass and had three or four other keepers. On Friday Steve, Dale and I fished a meeks tournament and got fourth. Those fish came for the dam area in eight foot of water.

A trip to the Osage River gave us a lot of fish and eight or ten nice bass on crank baits. The river was up so the rocks played a big part of the day. Fishing as a hole was good for bass and crappie. Now’s the time to go fishing.
